Dr. Soheil began practicing in Encino in 1999. He was inspired to become a dentist because he clearly saw how he could positively impact lives through dentistry. Dr. Soheil always had a keen awareness of how much our smiles say about who we are. They are essential to our health, connections, and self-confidence. A beautiful smile can even cross language barriers.
The fact that dentistry involves anatomy, physiology, and other intellectual challenges also drew Dr. Soheil to his chosen field. He’s always loved both science and the arts. Merging in-depth clinical knowledge with his artistic approach allows him to find fulfillment by enhancing smiles so they highlight his patients’ individual characteristics. Today, his approach has led generations of families to return to him for their care.
A Proud Graduate Of a World-Renowned Institution
Dr. Soheil earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the UCLA School of Dentistry. In 2017, The Shanghai Ranking began ranking 300 dental schools around the world. The UCLA School of Dentistry has repeatedly been ranked among the top six programs in the entire world.
A Formative Case Early in His Career
Dr. Soheil has been practicing dentistry for approximately 25 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he has enhanced the smiles and confidence of many Encino patients. Still, an incredibly special case from early on in his career remains vividly imprinted in his mind.
As a young dentist, Dr. Soheil met a 25-year-old man who had destroyed all of his upper teeth during years of crippling drug addiction. The patient’s teeth were severely broken up to his gum line. The man had made the life-changing decision to get clean and enter recovery.
Moved by the recovering young man’s courage and commitment, Dr. Soheil set to work on executing a customized smile restoration plan. Our dentist performed various reconstructive procedures that restored the man’s teeth, giving him a fresh start and a bright new confident smile.
Years later, Dr. Soheil ran into the man at his place of work. With incredible pride, the man told our dentist that he was now part of management at his job. His grateful smile and the joy on his face are images that Dr. Soheil will never forget. The ability to truly transform a life through dentistry drives our dentist to give his best to each patient every single day.

Some immensely skilled dentists are too clinical and impersonal in their approach. Not Dr. Soheil. He prides himself on his chairside manner, characterized by his funny, warm approach. Patients who come to his Encino dental office look forward to appointments they can actually enjoy.
Away from the Office
Dr. Soheil loves spending time with his beloved wife, son, and daughter. He greatly enjoys playing tennis and dining at his favorite restaurants both around LA and in San Francisco.
Dr. Soheil also has a great passion for jazz, standards, and all things Sinatra. To this day, the Rat Pack brings great joy to our dentist. He loves watching classic Dean Martin Roasts that showcase witty, sharp comedy centered around genuine, lifelong friendships.
